Dr Neeta Patel qualified from Manchester Medical School in 1992 and completed her paediatric training in a number of hospitals in and around London (including several years at GOSH), with a final year in renal and adolescent medicine in Melbourne, Australia.
She has been a Consultant General Pediatrician at The Whittington Hospital for 16 years, and has vast experience in managing all general acute and chronic paediatric conditions from newborn up to 17 years (including infections, infant feeding problems, UTI, eczema, wheeze, asthma, gut problems, constipation, allergies, abdominal pain, headache)
She sub-specializes in allergic diseases, and has extensive expertise in this field. She has set up a highly regarded paediatric allergy service at the Whittington including a flagship primary care allergy service (the first in the UK) which she continues to lead and expand, and which now sees over 1200 children with allergies a year
As Clinical Director for 5 years (2013-2018) she shaped and led the Children and Young Peoples Division at Whittington Health, setting up a robust clinical governance structure to ensure children and families received the highest quality care,
