Miss Jain is Consultant Ophthalmologist and Oculoplastic surgeon at the Western Eye Hospital (Imperial College Helathcare NHS Trust) and Hillingdon and Mount Vernon NHS Trusts
Miss Jain graduated from Guys & St Thomas' Hospital in 1995. She subsequently completed her further training at Addenbrookes Hospital, Cambridge and specialist ophthalmology training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, She undertook several subspecialist fellowships at Moorfields Eye Hospital and in the Cranio-Facio-Palpebral Unit at Chelsea and Westminister Hospital These fellowships involved intensive experience in eyelid surgery including cosmetic surgery, tear duct surgery, reconstruction following tumours and burns and thyroid eye disease. She also undertook further specialist paediatric training in childrens' eye disorders at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
Miss Jain is one of a smal group of oculoplastic surgeons who has trained in a multidisciplinary way and works closely with plastic surgeons, ENT surgeons and dermatologists in order to achieve the best result for her patients, both in managing the eye and tissues around the eye.
Miss Jain runs specialist oculoplastic clinics and specialist lacrimal clinics for tear duct disease and watering eyes. She can offer tear duct surgery both by the external and endoscopic (scar-less) routes.
Miss Jain is a member of the British Society of Oculoplastic surgeons and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists. She is part of the faculty for training at The Royal College. She is Ophthalmology Training Director at Imperial College.
