Mr Welck is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who exclusively specialises in foot and ankle problems. He is also an honorary associate clinical professor at UCL.
He graduated from Leeds University Medical School with a medical degree. He also has first class honours with distinction in both Bachelor of science and a Master of science degrees. He is double fellowship trained in foot and ankle surgery as well as a clinical and research fellowship at the world-renowned Foot and Ankle Institute in Baltimore, USA.
His NHS consultant position is at the foot and ankle unit of the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, where he sees complex, tertiary referral foot and ankle problems.
His private practice is at Spire Bushey and HCA Elstree Waterfront, HCA The Princess Grace. He is a founding partner of the Stanmore Foot and Ankle Specialists Group.
He is heavily involved in foot and ankle surgery teaching and convenes several national courses. He is also extensively involved in foot and ankle research, and regularly presents his work nationally and internationally. -
