Paul Harrow is a Consultant Gastroenterologist with specialist interest in Inflammatory Bowel Disease.
He studied medicine at the Universities of Cambridge and UCL and qualified in 2007. Paul completed his PhD at QMUL examining the role of
environmental signals (including dietary and bacterial) in the human intestine in health and IBD.
Paul works for the NHS at UCLH where he is a leading consultant in the adult and adolescent IBD service which looks after over 6000 IBD
patients.
Paul also has an interest in GI disorders in patients with inflammatory arthritis, eye disease and cancer.
He is an experienced endoscopist and performs and teaches gastroscopy (endoscopy) and colonoscopy at UCLH and at the Princess Grace
Hospital in London.
Paul has a long standing commitment to clinical research and is the principal investigator in a number of commercial and investigator led clinical
trials. Paul is the lead author of the NCL IBD prescribing guidelines and is committed to offering the latest treatments available to his patients.
