Cormac Magee is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at University College London Hospitals (UCLH). He has a specialist interest in the management of patients living with obesity and diabetes, particularly in novel endoscopic metabolic therapies. He studied for his PhD at UCL with Professor Rachel Batterham and Dr Rehan Haidry and has published extensively in the fields of Upper GI Therapeutic Endoscopy and Obesity. He works in the Intestinal Failure and Nutrition Team at UCLH and is particularly interested in the management of patients with complications of bariatric surgery. Cormac is also involved in teaching at UCL including helping to run the Nutrition MSc, and has been involved in multiple live endoscopy courses both in the UK and internationally.
Cormac Magee trained at Trinity College, Cambridge. Prior to his consultant appointment he has worked at University College London Hospitals, Addenbrooke’s Hospital and the John Radcliffe Hospital.
