Danielle is a Consultant Dermatologist based at St John’s Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust. Danielle graduated from the University of Cape Town with honours in 2001 and completed her postgraduate specialist training in dermatology at Guy’s and St Thomas’. Danielle undertook post-CCT fellowship training in children’s dermatology and genodermatoses and took up her first consultant post in 2012.

Danielle is clinical lead for paediatric dermatology and oversees the delivery of the general adult dermatology clinical service at the St Thomas’ hospital site. Her clinical interests include the multidisciplinary management of patients with inflammatory skin disorders such as atopic eczema, psoriasis, connective tissue disorders and the holistic management of children with rare genetic skin disorders and vascular anomalies. Danielle is a member of the population-based dermatology research group based at St John’s Institute and is an investigator on several clinical trials in atopic eczema and epidermolysis bullosa.
