Dr Braha is a Consultant Paediatrician with a subspecialist interest in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes, working at the Royal Free Hospital and at the HCA Golders Green Outpatients and Diagnostics Centre.
She conducts outpatient consultations in general paediatrics, paediatric endocrinology and paediatric diabetes. At the Royal Free Hospital, she also works in the Paediatric Emergency Department, Children’s Ward and Neonatal Unit.
Dr Braha trained at Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ School of Medicine and graduated with MBBS with Distinction in Special Studies as well as a BSc Pharmacology with Basic Medical Sciences (1 st Class Hons). In addition, she holds a Masters in International Health (Distinction) from the Royal Tropical Institute, Amsterdam.
She has a strong research interest in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes and has presented her work at national and international
conferences.
Dr Braha undertook her postgraduate paediatric training in North London. This included rotations in general paediatrics and neonatology, neurodevelopmental paediatrics and paediatric and neonatal intensive care. She also trained in paediatric endocrinology and diabetes at Great Ormond Street Hospital, UCLH, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital and St George’s Hospital.
She holds the RCPCH SPIN certification in Paediatric Diabetes as well as a CCT in General Paediatrics.
Dr Braha is an enthusiastic teacher and trainer, working as an APLS instructor and Simulation Training Lead, and as a Seminar Tutor for UCL Medical School.
As a general paediatrician with a strong subspecialty of paediatric endocrine knowledge and skill, her consultations are holistic and versatile, covering a wide range of topics according to the needs of her patients and their families.
