Mr Daniel Cohen is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
He completed his surgical training in London before undertaking a post-CCT Fellowship in HoLEP and stone surgery. He was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London for his research in healthcare education and health policy. Mr Cohen is one of two UK panel members on the European Association of Urology Bladder Cancer Guidelines Panel. Mr Cohen has sat on advisory panels for Prostate Cancer UK.
Mr Cohen has a special interest in benign prostatic disease, including Holmium Laser Surgery (HoLEP), prostate cancer diagnostics using multiparametric MRI and MRI-fusion transperineal biopsy, and bladder cancer. He is a core member of the bladder cancer and prostate cancer multi-disciplinary teams at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Cohen maintains an active research interest. He has co-authored over 20 peer-reviewed papers and has presented his research in Europe and the United States.

Haematuria and Bladder Cancer
Mr Cohen has a specific interest in prostate and bladder cancer diagnostics and management, and in the management of Male Lower urinary tract symptoms. He runs a dedicated one-stop clinic for the above.
He is one of only two UK Urologists who sit on the European Association of Urology Bladder cancer guidelines panel.
He has been invited to sit on the advisory panels for Prostate Cancer UK to discuss contemporary prostate cancer management.
