I practice at the Royal Free and also have a clinic at the North Middlesex hospital. I see patients with all renal conditions, including acute kidney injury, glomerulonephritis, hypertension, transplantation and all forms of dialysis.

I am one of the very few specialist nephrologists who also maintains a general medical practice. I see patients with multi-system problems or where the specialty is unclear.

I have specialist expertise in renal tubular disorders and in particular the metabolic evaluation of recurrent kidney stone formers. I run the largest medical renal stone clinic in the UK. I specialise in the diagnosis and management of rare stone-forming conditions, electrolyte disorders, hypertensive disorders and Fabry disease, and I conduct research into these conditions.
