Leye Ajayi is a Consultant Urological Surgeon at The Royal Free Hospital, Hampstead.
He graduated from Kings College Hospital, London, and completed his higher surgical training on the South Thames rotation and at Guy's Hospital. He attended an Endourology fellowship programme in Brisbane, Australia, before taking up his position at the Royal Free Hospital. He also works out of the Hospital of St John & St Elizabeth and The Wellington Hospital, St. John's Wood.
He has a general urology practice with sub-specialist interest in minimally invasive treatments for urinary tract stone disease, erectile dysfunction and prostate disease. He also performs Photodynamic resection for bladder cancers. He was awarded an MD for his research into the molecular biology of prostate cancer and has publications in this field and that of urinary tract stone disease. He is the clinical Lead in Endourology stone disease for Royal Free London, Barnet & Chase Farm Hospitals. He runs National and International courses in Supine Percutaneous nephrolithotomy.
