Neil Toft is a consultant plastic surgeon based at Northwick Park Hospital and also the Royal Free Hospital. He was appointed in 2007 and specializes in general plastic surgery, skin cancer and hand surgery.
He has a clinic at Northwick Park Hospital on a Monday afternoon and performs surgery at the Royal Free Hospital on a Thursday. Follow-up of patients after surgery is back at Northwick Park Hospital.
Originally trained at Edinburgh University, he began his surgical training in Edinburgh and Newcastle. His registrar rotation was based around the plastic surgery units in London. During his final year, he completed fellowships in aesthetic surgery, and paediatric hand surgery at Great Ormond Street Hospital. His main areas of interest within plastic surgery are the diagnosis and treatment of skin malignancy, and all aspects of hand surgery, including paediatric hand surgery.
He is responsible for overseeing the Hand Trauma Unit at the Royal Free Hospital which sees 500 new referrals per month, from North and West London.
