Jig Patel graduated from Southampton University. His Orthopaedic surgical training was based in major London hospitals and The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital.
His sub-specialist training was enhanced by a fellowship year in London, Ontario Canada in hip & knee surgery. Mr. Patel had been a NHS consultant at Kings College, London in 2002 and joined University College Hospital in 2004.
His trauma interests include fixation of fractures using minimally invasive techniques. Mr. Patel has interests in hip and knee disorders which include computer assisted joint replacement, osteotomy surgery and arthroscopic knee surgery.
