King’s College NHS Trust – Bromley sites (Princess Royal University Hospital; Orpington Hospital)
South East London/Kent
I practice as a Consultant Rheumatologist in the Bromley area. I trained in Bristol and London and have carried out academic research at King’s College London. My NHS practise is with King’s College NHS Trust. At King’s, I am part of a well respected cross site rheumatology department. At King’s, Bromley sites, I am site lead for rheumatology (Orpington Hospital and the Princess Royal University Hospital). I also practise at Queen Mary’s, Sidcup.
My sub-specialist practise is with the King’s College Denmark Hill Lupus and Connective Tissue diseases clinic. I also have a research interest in fatigue associated with rheumatic conditions. In addition, I work within the musculoskeletal clinics where I perform soft tissue and joint injections as well as manage soft tissue problems.
My private rheumatology practise is currently with the Sloane BMI Hospital in Beckenham and I can also see patients at Orpington Hospital privately. I am able to see private patients at convenient times and at short notice.
I have published original research in the areas of rheumatoid arthritis, fatigue in autoimmune arthritic disorders and in inflammatory muscle diseases. I actively participate in undergraduate and postgraduate training of medical students at King’s College London as well as junior doctors and run the MSK teaching program for GPs at Queen Mary’s, Sidcup.
